This is my final project from my Florilegium course, inspired by the time I hiked Mt. Washington. It was an incredibly eye opening, freeing experience and one of the biggest physical feats of my life so far. I wanted to depict my emotional journey throughout the hike with fragments of the scenery; from sheer terror while free climbing for the first time, to awestruck bliss at the peak. For the covers I scanned a 1989 map and collaged a copy of it onto watercolored lokta paper to represent the elevation changes.
