Winter

9" x 12" moku hanga print

I made this print when I took a four-day workshop at the Peninsula School of Art, taught by the moku hanga mastermind Mary Brodbeck in July 2025.

I had just moved out of my first apartment and wanted to make a piece commemorating my time there. One of my favorite parts of living there was watching and listening to the birds living in the tree outside my window.

9" x 12" copper plate etching

I made this print based on a photograph I took during Winter's set in Detroit 2024. I wanted to capture the feeling of being lost in the moment and the magic of music.

18" x 24" Linoleum relief print

This was my first two-color print, inspired by the ethereal bliss I experienced there. In the moment it felt as though the landscape and vegetation blended together into an infinite sea, breathing with the wind.
